Nice to meet you. I'm Jony Zhang, a graduate of the Visual Communication Department at WPP School of Visual Arts. I specialize in creative work across multiple disciplines, including branding, graphic design, mobile interaction, user experience (UX) design, and web development. Rooted in design and technology, I continuously strive to transcend traditional graphic design and explore more diverse new media fields.
With 10 years of experience in the internet industry, I work as both a user experience designer and an independent developer. I pursue ultimate user experiences and am dedicated to the integration of visual aesthetics and technology. Over the course of 2 years as a freelancer, I served as Visual Design Lead for brands including CLOT, Huawei VMALL Mall, THE HALL, and FLO SCAPE.
Since 2010, I built my first personal website and developed a strong passion for web development from that time on. To me, this is not merely a technical endeavor, but more importantly, a practice of thinking deeply about users, anticipating their needs, and constantly empathizing with their perspectives. Superior layout design and distinctive user experiences are the very soul of a website. I have always known that I am building a browsing ecosystem—and what a magnificent thing that is. Building websites has taught me how to think and how to solve problems. More importantly, the web encompasses a vast array of presentation forms, offering a comprehensive breadth of knowledge to be gained.
